Last night, I flew up to Seattle to begin my adventure as a college sophomore. The plane didn't have any running water, so there was no coffee or tea, and nobody was able to use the sink, so they provided everyone with wetnaps. I noticed as I walked onto the plane that it was starting to drizzle, and luckily when we arrived in Seattle, it was dry as a whistle.

My friend Kelli picked me up, and we had some cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory in Bellevue. After, we stayed at the Hilton there because her dad had a room that nobody was using. We watched Old School, but knocked out before the movie ended.

I woke up the next morning with no sun in sight, but it was pretty warm out. We drove over to the u-district back to her house so she could shower and change and get ready for our trip to Canada. I sat the whole time playing with my DS trying to unlock maps in Mario Kart.

So Joey, Myron and Lian met us at the house, and we began our journey north to the country of Canada. It was a pretty boring drive, so I pulled out my DS and played some more. Before we crossed the border, we stopped at a Duty Free shop so Kelli could buy some gifts for her mom's aunt, whose home we are staying in right now. I picked up a carton of Dunhills as well.

We dropped off our things at the house, and once we arrived, the view from the hill we were on was spectacular. We were miles from downtown Vancouver, but we could see everything from the driveway. The house itself is beautiful in all architecture. There are great details in every room and the interior decoration is really clean and modern with a very friendly atmosphere. They have a bathroom where the walls are painted as the countryside.

We left the house around 7:40 to go to the concert, but stopped to eat dinner at a local pizzeria, Microbyte Pizza. I ate a pound's worth of chicken wings.

After eating, we walked over to the Tegan and Sara concert. Northern State opened, and they were pretty good at entertaining. Think of them as the female Beastie Boys. 3 chicks rapping to percussion and guitar. Tegan and Sara were amazing. They played a pretty long set list of about 20 or more songs including an encore covering Rihanna's "Umbrella" which was pretty damn good.

Now we're back at the house about to go to bed. Enjoy the pictures
