The days are becoming longer. The sun rose at about 5:15 AM today, and wasn't done setting until around 9:30 PM. Meanwhile, it is becoming unbearably hot in our apartment. Because our rooms are facing the sun and I am on the highest floor, not to mention the lack of air conditioning in this entire complex, it is excruciating to inhabit these walls. The thermostat in my room read 90.1 degrees. It feels like I'm in a large oven, all the while trying to get some reading done for my environment class. Two electric fans and ice cold coca cola are keeping me from going insane, and hopefully this heat will die down soon.
