Former President Clinton made an appearance at the UW Bookstore to sign copies of his new book Giving. Kelli and I got there to wait in line at around 2. Apparently, they opened the line up at noon, and we were about 150 people in. Luckily the line was in-doors, so we didn't have to freeze for 6 hours. Myron and Landon came too later, but I spent a good 4 or so hours reading magazines and playing Mario Kart on my DS. The wristbands started getting handed out, and at a little past 8, people started to get up, and there was a huge cheer. We saw the Secret Service do some walking around, looking pretty intimidating. As we got closer, I got more and more excited. The man was everything if not more than I imagined. He shook my hand, and said "Thanks for coming out" something came over me, and I burst out with a jolting greeting. The President flinched a bit taken by surprise. He signed my book, and we were done!
